Menu and interfaces are often forgotten with all the other exciting visual elements, but for me it is a very important element that guides the player or user through “the show”. If it fails, the mood for the entire product quickly falls.
Everything is linked to the brand identity and this also goes for menus and interfaces. I have a great time finding the theme for the skin that enhances the spirit from the game or product. It’s also fun to find the visual effects that adds to the usability and not the opposite.
The most intense UI/UX work I’ve done was at NDS Denmark (now Cisco), where we designed new interfaces for TV and Web platforms.
